Uwajimaya Osechi Set

Celebrate the New Year with our renewed three-tier Osechi — a beautifully arranged selection handcrafted by Uwajimaya. This year’s set expands from a single tray to three layers, blending beloved family recipes such as Kasuzuke Black Cod and Nishime (simmered vegetables) with new additions like Butter Sake Scallops.
A cherished Uwajimaya tradition for over 50 years, thoughtfully prepared to honor the season and share with loved ones. Serves 1–2.

Tier #1 – Signature Selections

  • Tataki Gobo – Pounded and simmered burdock root dressed in a toasted sesame sauce symbolizes strength and stability in the new year.
  • Butter Sake Scallops – Seared scallops simmered in a rich, savory sake-butter glaze.
  • Kasuzuke Black Cod – Cod marinated in sake lees and gently cooked, representing purity and a fresh start to the year.
  • Kazunoko – Salted herring roe that symbolizes fertility and the wish for many prosperous generations.

Tier #2 – Traditional Favorites
